City of Marina Arts Building/MST
REI’s demolition work at the former Fort Ord military base involved the safe removal of deteriorated buildings and warehouses containing hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead, PCB’s, and contaminated soil.
Shea Homes Dunes Phase 3
REI was the prime contractor for the abatement and demolition of 140 former military structures contaminated with asbestos, lead, and PCBs. Randazzo was also responsible for the excavation and loading of soil impacted with lead and other heavy metals. Randazzo removed over 1.5 million square feet of asphalt and concrete paving. Additional work included tree removal, clearing and grubbing, underground utility removal, erosion control measures, and overall site restoration, ensuring the area was safely prepared for the next phase of development.
