Who we are
We’re a family-owned and operated leader in demolition across Central and Northern California. For over 50 years, we’ve tackled projects of all sizes and treat every project with the same care and dedication like our own.
As the parent company of Randazzo Salvage Yard, we prioritize sustainability in every project. Our goal is to repurpose and recycle as many materials as possible, diverting thousands of tons from landfills and giving new life to wood, metal, and other reusable materials.
Our teams bring specialized expertise to every job, handling complex logistical challenges such as emergency responses, publicly sensitive sites, or catastrophic damage. Safety is always central, with programs designed to meet industry demands and comply fully with EPA and Cal/OSHA regulations.
Our Mission and Values
We deliver high-quality demolition and site services with a focus on safety, sustainability, and trust—ensuring every job is done right the first time.
Our Story
Randazzo Enterprises Inc. was founded by John Randazzo in 1969. In the late 1970s, long before recycling became mainstream, John began saving and repurposing materials, creating the original Randazzo Salvage Yard in Sand City, California. The business eventually moved to its current location in Castroville, where artisans, contractors, and DIYers can explore a treasure trove of doors, chandeliers, windows, bathtubs, lumber, stone, brick, and other materials John saved over the years. He took great pride in seeing these salvaged items find new life in homes and workspaces.
John’s passion for demolition, salvage, and his employees remained a driving force throughout his lifetime. Today, his children, Jona and Mark Randazzo, carry on his legacy. Jona serves as Corporate Secretary & Office Manager, while Mark, as president, leads Randazzo Enterprises Inc. and the Salvage Yard—continuing the mission to salvage, recycle, and repurpose as many materials as possible.
Don’t take our word for it though - our innovative approach to salvaging materials has long been recognized—featured in BioMagazine’s 1995 article ‘Salvaging with Imagination,’ REI has consistently sought ways to repurpose debris and keep reusable materials out of landfills.
