Taylor Farms Fire Demolition
After the fire that took place at the Taylor Farms Salinas processing facility, REI led the emergency response teardown and site clean-up. The project required controlled demolition of structurally unstable areas, removal of ammonia refrigeration tanks and piping, ,management of chemical residues, and regulated disposal of Asbestos contaminated fire debris. All work was completed in compliance with OSHA, EPA, Monterey Bay Air Resources Board, and DTSC regulations. All work was completed under the direction of an independent 3rd party hired by Taylor Farms.
Salinas Steel Builders Demolition
Randazzo Enterprises, Inc. performed a surgical commercial demolition for Salinas Steel Builders, carefully removing a structure located between three active buildings. The project required precise planning and controlled demolition methods to protect adjacent structures while maintaining safety and efficiency throughout the process.
